Jenn (who I went to the Bahamas with) is Oswego East's Prom planner, and since I needed hours of work for my master's program, I volunteered to help her this year. It was a couple months of a lot of organizational work, but last night we held a successful event with only a few minor problems. (You know, students sitting at the wrong table, students showing up for dinner when they told us they weren't coming for dinner, someone fainted, students asked if they could go outside to smoke!, etc...)
Plus, Bryan experienced his FIRST Prom ever! He was a little shocked at some of the wardrobes and dancing, but he was a great help at the end of the night when we passed out the favors while the students left. It was an exhausting day but it was fun to see all the students dressed up having a good time.
