(Bryan spent the day fishing and then with friends from BU for a 30th birthday bash)
Sunday night Jennifer took me to the Sox game. Unlike her, I can actually cheer for the other Chicago team... I even wore a Sox hat the entire game. The weather was amazing, the Sox won, and we had a ton of fun. They even did a tribute for Memorial Day for soldiers and their families. They did a lap around the field before the game, then, after the National Anthem was sung, they let red, white, and blue balloons fly into the air. It was really cool!
(Bryan spent the day golfing and hung out with Brian & Leslie)
Monday: Bryan and I actually spent the day together! We got up and sat outside for a while, trying to decide what to do. Then we hopped in the car and took Bliss road (a nice country road for the nice breezy day) toward Geneva, had some lunch outside, did some shopping, of course stopped at Gander Mountain, and headed home. On the way home we stopped at A&W for a root beer float. The weather was so nice out that when we got home we spent 2 hours enjoying our patio... I enjoyed it by napping on our swing... Bryan enjoyed it by reading. After my nap, we met Brian, Leslie, Lisa, Ed, Sophia, and Ethan at Sweet Tomato for dinner. It was our first time there, but we enjoyed it. Too bad we are probably banned for life because Lisa broke the ice cream machine! OOPS! At least we had some good laughs. The twins are getting so big. We can't wait until their 1st birthday.. exactly one month from today!
