Aubry was playing "dress up" with Grandpa Dale, puting a paperplate hat on him:
Cousin snuggle time -
Half time dancin' time!
Feb 9:
Aubry is 10 months old today!!!
Her latest and greatest:
-She officially has 5 teeth (some are more evident than others, but all 5 are poking out of the gums). She's had the bottom 2 since Oct... the newest 3 all came around the same time!
-She had her 1st antibiotic for a cough/cold, took omoxocillin twice a day for 10 days. Even though it was a struggle to get it in her some times, she never spit it back out!
-She continues to walk with the walker, but shows no interest in walking while holding someone's hands. She crawls super fast, and walks around tables with ease. I think as soon as she realizes how to balance without holding on, she'll be walking in no time!
-She loves to climb in and out of her polkadot chair.
-When she is on a bed/chair/couch with us, we are teaching her how to get down on her own. She's getting pretty good and turning around and sliding down!
-She loves pulling folded laundry out of the laundry baskets, and pulling dirty socks out of the dirty laundry piles. (and it's only her socks, not sure why)
-She's exploring the house more and more each day, wondering into the kitchen, hallway, and living room. (She has not discovered the stairs yet!!)
-For some reason, she is in a stage of refusing to be spoon fed. That being said, she has been eating Gerber pasta pick ups, meat sticks, breakfast bars, carrots, apples, and mini "tv dinner" type thing with pasta and chicken, grilled cheese, toast & jelly, sweet potato fries, noodles, crackers, and string cheese.
-Her favorite toy are still the stacking cups. She can now put smaller ones inside the bigger ones. She loves doing this and can spend 15 minutes doing it over and over. She also loves to put socks in the cup, hair bows in the cup, and any other smaller toys that will fit in the cups.
-When she's not entertained by the cups, she LOVES to read (she's a speed reader, this one - just turns the pages forward, then backward, then forward, then....), or pulls every single toy out of her toy basket (or all of her diapers out of the diaper caddy)(or items from her diaper bag)
-She learned how to squirt water from a bath toy.
-She is starting to use a sippy cup (mostly to chew on, but occasionaly gets water out of it!)
-She pulls all hairbows out. If she gets distracted AS SOON as you put it in, she will forget about it for maybe 30 minutes, but then she'll grab it and pull it out - OUCH!
-She attacks any form of electronic device - she thinks all phones are for her, won't pose with for the camera because she crawls after it, and if we grab the video camera to film something cute, if she sees it, she immediately stops doing what she was doing, and chases after the camera.
-She's starting to have short temper tantrums when she doesn't get her way - fun stuff. But she's an angel, really. So good around people, and so good when we are running errands all day long! Her smile and laugh just light us up. We love this stage that she's in!
What a rough 10 month birthday -
What a rough 10 month birthday -
She thought she would help herself to a birthday treat of fruit snacks-
Our sweetie-
Because of all the snow coming down today, we thought we would bring her out for the 1st time in her snowsuit!!
Breaks my heart - look at that sad face. It wasn't the snow or the weather that put her into tears - I promise - she just didn't like sitting in her snowsuit!
Her 1st snowangel -
Aw, more tears
See? All better! She just didn't like sitting!
What a busy month!

hahhahaaaa! I was just checking the Stasch blog to see what they were up to, and I saw the Aubry updates. I did a double take and thought I was going crazy! How funny! Anyway, the pics were great. I love that adorable face when Aubry's sitting in the snow. So cute!! (Oh, and I'll have to have a talk with my little boozer...)
How wonderful. Awesome pictures.
She is so photogenic. Just like her mom.
She made such a beautiful snow angel. What talent.
Can't wait for her to be walking.
