Monday Fundays

Aubry has had some exciting adventures the past few Mondays at Grandma Karen's with her and "Dao" (a.k.a. Grandpa Dale) since he has had the past few Mondays off from work.

Adventure 1: The Lincoln Park Zoo...

Aubry told me she heard the lions "ROAAAAAAAAAAR"

She liked watching the monkeys, but liked this little guy the best.

She just made herself at home in front of the giraffes to watch the meerkats.

"Smell? Peeeeee Youuuuuuuu!!!"


Adventure 2: A day in the life of Aubry...
She begins the morning with some stretching,

followed with some garden tending,

has some dip with her lunch (yes, at McDonalds, where she also played in the "playland"),

makes time to just hang around,

plays teeter-totter,

races down the slide,

swings, giggles, giggles, and giggles,

and swings on the big girl swing


~~Aubry has had lots of fun on her adventures, and has been pretty wiped out the rest of the day. Once she is confident the adventure has ended, she takes quite a long nap.~~

I can't wait to have the WHOLE summer with her to take her on even more adventures!!
