So, despite all of his throwing up, he is still growing and gaining weight.
MORGYN
height: 22.75 inches (62nd percentile)
weight: 11lbs 10oz (69th percentile)
Morgyn's head/neck issues have gotten a lot better - no helmet or physical therapy!! The doctor did feel some clicking in her left hip, so we need to make an appointment at Edward Hospital for an ultrasound. When she was born, they said her hips were turned outward a little, due to her position in the womb and they would keep an eye on them. The doctor wasn't too concerned, but said better to be safe than sorry.
Grady is perfect, besides not keeping food down. The doctor liked our decision to switch to Similac Spit Up. She said it had rice in it that made it thicker, and should decrease the amount of spitting up. It's only been a week, but so far, we haven't really noticed a difference. She upped his Previcid to 1mL twice a day, instead of 0.5mL twice a day. Something we did not know was that the Previcid will not reduce the spitting up; it is only to make him more comfortable. We were a little shocked by this, as with our nieces, their spitting up seemed to pretty much stop once they were on acid reflux medicine. We'll see how getting used to the new formula goes with the higher dose of medicine. If there is no change by the time we return from vacation (20 days til Disney!!) we will take him back in. Otherwise, we don't go back until a 4 month check up :) So, here's to health!!
And, even though Aubry constantly says "grady is daddy's, morgyn is mine and yours, i love morgyn", to which I reply "and WE love Grady too" and she responds with a laugh, Aubry loves Grady just as much as Morgyn-
