Halloween

Halloween Time!
In preparation for a new Christmas tradition of decorating gingerbread houses, we let Aubry practice on a Halloween house! She was very meticulous at putting all the candy decorations on

Halloween Eve ... getting use out of our orange and black clothes! (Morgyn jumps when she sits, which is why she looks semi-airborn

Our tradition of trick-or-treating with the Burritts continued. I drove Grandma Nancy and our 3 kids to Villa Park after school where we were soon joined by Teri, Kyri, and Tessa, then Bryan and Grandpa Mike, then Kyle, and then Grandma B and Grandpa Larry. We got costumes on, and then headed outside. They were troopers!! We met up with The Stasch's and Aubry did pretty well keeping up running from house to house. Kyri and Tessa were close behind. We covered an entire block! I was impressed, since last year, it was maybe half a block. We started in the daytime, but just as we were approaching our ending destination, it got dark enough to see Aubry's dress, crown, and wand light up.
Thing 2, Leopard, Thing 1, Queen Bee, Light Up Princess
Thing 1, Thing 2,and The Cat in the Hat
Tessa did a great job keeping up and had so much fun!

At our last stop (The Burritt's), Aubry said "Trick or Treat, smell my feet!" to Uncle Kyle. It was pretty funny!
We warmed up inside with some delcious chili, noodles, cornbread, apple pie, and even tasted the Halloween candy house! It was a fabulous Halloween. The next day, dropping Aubry off at school, Miss Lisa asked her how her Halloween was, and she said "I went to Ky's party and got lots of candy!!!".
Here was the day before Halloween, at Aubry's 1st school Halloween party. There was Thor, heading to get the flag for the Pledge of Allegience, and the rest were sitting: Belle is not in view, but Aurora, Light Up Princess, Firefighter, Rapunzel, Dragon, and Bee are sitting on their carpet squares.
