Last night Aunt Mary and I decided to do some crafting before the big pageant, so we went to Archivers to find some paper and use their letter cutter machine to help make our sashes. As we were walking around looking at all their materials we noticed that they had many tables in the back of the store and there were a few people there working on their scrapbooks. As we shopped, more people started coming in and filling up tables. By the time we were done shopping and ready to work, there were only a few spots left at the tables, so we hurried to find 2 seats at the same table. Well, neither of us had any idea how to use the die-cut machine to cut the lettes out of our paper, so Aunt Mary went to ask someone. A few minutes later the worker came over to us and asked if we were here for "Mania". I'm sure she caught onto our reactions of "huh?" so continued to describe that "mania" was held on Saturday nights, is a pre-paid ordeal for people to come in and scrapbook with snacks and beverages. Kind of like a scrapbook party. Except that they were booked for the night so we couldn't use their table space. Well who knew that Archivers was the hot spot on a Saturday night! We couldn't believe how quickly the rest of the seats were filled up of women working on their scrapbooks! The nice worker brought a die-cut machine over to an empty counter for us to still use, and showed us how to use it, which ended up being super easy. So here we are, cutting away, and the nice worker came back to check on us. Aunt Mary asked if they carried any 2-sided tape (so we could see if our letters would stick to our sash), and the worker explained that they had 3 different sizes. So Aunt Mary asked if we could "try" some. The lady kindly responded that "we don't have any for you to
try but I can bring some over and make a tab for you to pay at the end of the night". Aunt Mary jumped at the chance and the worker went to find the tape. I looked at Aunt Mary and said, "You just opened up a tab at Archivers". We just burst out laughing. I must say that I never thought I would ever be at Archivers for more than 2 hours, but we got a lot accomplished and both are ready to make our sashes now!

Just to give you "non" scrappers
a visual, this is what we looked like.
(I do not know who the person is
in the picture.)
