Bryan and I woke up at our normal time (5:18 am) and anticipated a phone call from my phone tree. We were nervous that it wouldn't come, because nothing was posted on the website for my school, but all the surrounding schools were already cancelled. We couldn't believe that I might actually have to drive in! The snow drifited so bad in front of our house, that there was about 3 feet against the garage door. If I had school, Bryan would need to clear the driveway for me to get out. Luckily, that phone call came at 5:45! Bryan decided to leave much later than normal so he wouldn't have to sit in traffic for 3 hours to get to work. He still cleared the driveway before he left, so I snapped some pictures to remember just how high the snow got.
The snow almost came up to our mailbox, covered our plants, and reached the seat of the bench!
