What a crazy family!


After the photo shoot, we enjoyed a new menu this year: Soup and Sandwiches. It was nice and easy. Almost everyone contributed a soup, so there was LOTS to eat. There was - my favorite - Cream of Chicken Rice, Baked Potato, Lentil, Lobster Bisk, and Chicken Noodle. Bryan slaved over homemade chicken noodle, which was delicious. I think the only other one that was homemade was Sam's lentil soup. Rose supplied mini sandwiches from Subway. Another new thing we tried this year was for the dessert menu - every person had to make a different type of cookie. An email went around and it was "first reply first choice" so that there were no repeat flavors. Here are some snapshots of the dessert table:




After dessert, it was present time! All of the "kids" have had to take turns being Santa. This year "Christmas Princess Leslie" passed out the gifts. Here are her and her sidekick:

Bryan got a great gift from Leslie and Sam - a new daddy tool belt, equipped with everything necessary to change a diaper: goggles, gloves, a face mask, diapers, tongs, baby powder, vaseline, toys to distract the baby, and of course, instructions. Here is Bryan modeling his modern toolbelt:

A new treat this year: Who knew there was so much talent in our familly? Those that took the trip down to Florida earlier this month for Kerry & Chris' wedding wrote a new version of the 12 days of Christmas. So here is the new version "12 things at the O'Regan/Boston Christmases"

We had much fun this year, and of course, lots of laughs. I can't believe that in next year's photo shoot we will have to squeeze a little peanut in the pictures! Ok, by then, Baby Knutson will be 8 months old, but still... I can't believe it!
