Christmas Weekend

This year was the 1st Christmas morning that Bryan and I woke up at home since we moved in in 2005! We usually stay at a hotel in OakBrook since our Christmas Eve party and Christmas morning were both in Villa Park. But we had a little change this year - we wanted to make sure Santa could find Aubry! She woke up and seemed excited when we told her that Santa brought her presents. She was filled with "oh boy" as she went downstairs to find pretend food with dishes. She even got right to work on making us breakfast!

After some play time, we went to Uncle B, Aunt Les, and Mia's house to open presents from Grandma Karen and Grandpa Dale.
Aubry thought it would be fun to climb the stack of presents.

Then off to the Knutson's for Christmas dinner and MORE presents! As soon as Aubry and Kyri got to Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Mike's they found some toys already built for them!

Santa brought matching Minnie Mouse backpacks!

Sharing some milk with their new lion cubs from Aunt Jan (in their new sippy cups!)

Aubry even got her own personalized suitcase for our next vacation.. hmm... where should we go?

MORE presents.....a cozy coupe, a wagon, a dancing Mickey, and LeapFrog toys. THANKS EVERYONE!

And after a day with NO nap, we ended it with some snuggle time with Josh.

The Market in Action
Aubry loves her new market. She is really into all her new gifts. She is so lucky to have so much love and family to spoil her. Her favorite thing to sell is muffins and ice cream.

Her favorite thing to prepare for mommy and daddy are hot dogs and french fries. Every time she plays, she works so hard to get the presentation to look perfect. It's so fun watching her!!
A HUGE thank-you for all her gifts. She really did get a lot of fun toys. I will enjoy spending the rest of my winter break playing with them!!!

What a busy little girl. I'm sure her social calendar will always be full.
A wonderful Christmas was had by all. Can't wait to celebrate many, many more.

What a fun time! The girls were so cute and so excited! Thank you for giving US the best gifts of all Aubry and Kyri!! I love all the pictures but I have to say...giving the perfect presentation to hotdogs and fries might be my favorite.
