Happy New Year

You can't start a new year without ending it with a party! So that's what we did, sort of. Our party consisted of having Kyle, Teri, and Kyri over. It was nice and simple.
The girls started off with a Mickey appetizer of apples, cheese, and pretzels in a mickey container.

Dinner a la Kyle - a delicious casserole. Cheers!

On to dessert. For Christmas I got a bunch of decorating tools, so I though we could put them to use. Bryan made 3 boxes of cupcakes - yikes! Teri got me a cupcake book filled with all sorts of creative ways to decorate. We stole lots of their ideas.

After taste-testing a few, the girls entertained us while we decorated.

Final product:
Everyone's initials for the Pajama Party on New Year's Day

Top Row: Football, Golf course, Basketball
Middle Row: Apple, Monkey, Baseball
Bottom Row: Cherry Pie, Snowman, Piggy

There is a lamb somewhere under all the marshmallows. The rest were decorated by using different piping tips.

Purple & Green grapes ~ how clever!

Kyri's new favorite thing to do is to "blow out the candle" (it's just a pretzel)

After decorating, it was game time!
Kyle & the Wii

Kyri, Aubry, & ELEFUN!

Snuggle Time? NO WAY! The Burritts left around 11, but Aubry made it until 12:18!!!

New Year's Day - Pajama Party!!

The Chefs busy making blueberry Mickey pancakes, waffles, and omlets

After brunch naps? Uncle Steve & Grandma Nancy might have thought so, but Kyri & Aubry thought it was TACKLE TIME!

Here's to a great 2011!
