Cabin Fever

We have cabin fever and found a great place to go to and get out of the house. On our day off yesterday (thanks, Presidents!) I took Aubry to an indoor play place in Lombard (yes, a drive, but worth it!) We met Grandma Karen, Kyri, Tessa, Aunt T and Uncle Kyle at Kiddie Klub Lane. This place is great place for toddlers! Not only do they only charge for the kids playing, but it kept the girls occupied for 2 hours and we could have easily stayed longer (if our tummies weren't grumbling). They have 7 play houses decked out with supplies AND dress up, and even some push along cars to drive (and fill the gas up at the gas station!)

Warning~if you are a blog hopper, these are teh same pictures as the Burritt blog~silly me forgot my camera!! But if you are new to view, here you go!

Aubry enjoyed using the cash register at the grocery store.

The girls were very busy in the store!

In the open center of the play area, they had a great teeter-totter. The girls got a big kick out of it.

A little room in the back with tables and chairs just their size - perfect for coloring!

Kyri the fire-fighter

Would you like some ice cream from the Diner? They even had the big light up sign that said 'Diner'!

The Bait & Tackle Shop - the girls loved sliding in the 'water' and fishing with their very own fishing poles, while wearing their fishing vests. Kyri even found a chair inside and said she was "relaxing at the lake house" - so cute!

What a great way to spend the morning. It worked out perfect to get some lunch and head home for nap time! It was also nice to get out of the house... we are hoping for spring to come soon!
