2 Peas, a Pod, and a New Bed

2 Peas...
Mia came over last Sunday with Uncle B. Aubry gave her lots of hugs and Mia crawled so fast to keep up with Aubry. The girls had lots of fun.
Aubry danced while Mia sang into the microphone. Even though Aubry is standing, she looks so HUGE lately. Only a year ago did she look Mia's size. How do they grow so fast?

And one week later, the girls ran into each other at Costco! They had a bike seat on display that the girls were test driving.

A pod....

Aubry has made the couch her own personal play place lately. She gently puts her bowl of snacks on the cushion, climbs up, and pulls the blanket over, tucking it in like she's inside a little pod.

The next day she brought a book with her, instead of snacks.

This morning she switched couches, and wanted to sit at "mommy's table" for breakfast. (Yes, we are lazy sometimes and eat in front of the tv)

I can't believe how long her hair is getting!

A New Bed...

With nothing else to do today, we decided to take the front of Aubry's crib off, and put on the toddler rail! Scary and exciting. I can't believe how grown up she is getting. She really never tried to climb out of the crib, but the "going to bed" routine of needing to fall asleep in our bed needed to change. We are hoping that she will view her new bed as a real bed and fall asleep in it. She definitely took ownership of putting it together. She is very handy with tools:
