WEDNESDAY: We slept in, after a long day at the Magic Kingdom. After breakfast we took a ferry ride to Downtown Disney (reminded me of Oakbrook Mall; just shops and restaurants). Here's what we did there: ate lunch at T-Rex (dinosaur version of Rainforest Cafe), shopped at the Lego Store (Aubry got Princess duplos), Aubry got her face painted like Cinderella's crown and rode a small train, shopped at an amazing Christmas store, took a silly picture inside t-shirts, splashed in a fountain, had delicious sundaes and floats at the Ghiradelli Chocolate Shoppe, and took the fairy back. By the way, we stayed at Old Key West Resort, on the Disney grounds. Since we had our ice cream at 6pm, we weren't up for much dinner, so we made some nachos after bath time, then watched a Disney bedtime story on tv, and went to bed.
THURSDAY: Woke up early for our reservation at Chef Mickey's. The food was really good, and Aubry and I were so excited to get visits from Mickey and the Gang during breakfast. We snooped around the Contemporary Resort for a bit, took a ride on the monorail, then headed back for pool time. At the pool they were doing some trivia, and when it came to princess questions, Aubry knew almost all the answers! She was so cute giving out the answers. Morgyn and Grady took their first toe dip, but neither of them had a very pleasing reaction, so that's as far as they went in. We left the pool because it was time for Grandma and Grandpa to go to the airport. After saying goodbye, Aubry took her 1 and only nap of the trip. After dinner, The Fabulous Family of Five headed to the lobby for a campfire and toasting marshmallows. Then we took another ferry ride to Downtown Disney, only we didn't get off until the ferry was back at our resort.
FRIDAY: Time to pack up and head home. It was a GREAT vacation. We drove until Chatanooga, where we stayed the night. While we were on the road, we realized that it was Morgyn and Grady's 3 month birthday!! So we had to take a mini photo shoot at one of our gas/food stops. So smiley!!
SATURDAY: Bryan was a trooper ad drove the majority of the way home. Even though the kids were all really good in the car, the just needed some company, I suppose, because I found myself riding in between Morgyn and Grady, sitting on a cooler, a lot of the way. When I was driving, Bryan was doing the same. We were anxious to get out of the car. We were greeted at home by Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Mike with some pizza and shared our vacation details with them.
