While he was playing ball, I went to EC for a choir reunion. We met at 10:30, went around and did alum introductions, where I realized that my grade school music teacher was there as an alum... and she remembered me! Crazy! I didn't even introduce myself as Boston! It was nice to catch up with my former choir friends. I haven't been back to EC since I graduated in '04!
After a nice afternoon catnap at home, Bryan and I left to go Julie's 40th surprise party. It was in LaGrange, at Casa Margarita. The margaritas were great! (according to the non-pregnant guests..). Bryan really enjoyed the food, and Julie was very entertaining. We had a great night out!
Surprise, Julie!

The cake smelled delicious!

The Girls

Sunday morning I took Bryan out to breakfast to Southern Belles, a new restaurant in Yorkville. He has been waiting for weeks to go, but we've been too busy. It was really good though.. well worth the wait, and I'm sure we'll be back there. We went home to get ready to relax in front of the Bears game. At half-time we stopped by his parents to welcome them home from Italy. Little did I know that I would come home with gifts from Italy! They had a great trip and took some amazing pictures. We came home after the Bears game and enjoyed mashed potato bowls from KFC for dinner. yum!
