The O'Knutson's

Who says you need to be Irish in order to celebrate St. Patrick's Day? We turned ourselves Irish at the annual O'Knutson corned beef dinner. Here are all the things that made us Irish (besides the corned beef):
Funny hats and beer goggles,

Black & Tans,

Lots of green,

Lots of green, (What a McCutie!!)

Lots of Green,

And even more green! (Apparently Bryan missed that memo....)

Quick fix! More Green!

After dinner, the group split into 2.
Group 1: The annual "Quiet Man" watchers (which ironically, does not make the audience very quiet... even though they watch it every year, they still laugh as if they are seeing it for the first time..)
Group 2: Entertained themselves with various activities. It started with 3 card gut, then turned into normal 5 card poker (without any chips or money), tried some Texas Holdem, but went back to normal poker, then it turned into a CPR lesson! Bryan and I had our Baby Care class all morning and afternoon. We got a CPR kit that came with "minibaby"... a blow up baby that allows you to practice chest compressions and giving breaths. Bryan did a great job showing everyone exactly how to perform CPR to a baby. Sadly, there are no pictures of him reviving the plastic doll.
If you are wondering, the all day class was very very long, but I learned a lot about baby care.... swaddling, bathing, diapering, clothing, holding, calming a fussy baby, vaccinations, CPR, and car seat safety. All of this will come in handy in less than 4 weeks!!!!
