Cutie Pa-tootie

Our little Aubry is growing growing growing! It seems like she eats all day long. She is awake a lot longer during the day, so it's been fun to start talking and playing with her. Bryan weighed her (by weighing himself, then holding her, and subtracting) and she was 11 pounds! I'm not sure how accurate that method is, but she has officially outgrown some newborn sleepers and has worn two 0-3 month outfits already! She is also almost outgrown her teeny tiny newborn diapers! She is sleeping a little better at night... and I do mean only a little. Some nights are better than others, but she seems to go longer than her occasional 45 minute naps. We have been getting 2 to 3 hours of sleep at a time. I'm thinking that since she is awake more during the day, that she will start sleeping much better at night... soon! =) When she is awake, she is very alert, looking all around, memorizing things, and she will stare at a face for forever when you talk to her.
She will be 6 weeks this Thursday. We see tiny random smiles sometimes, but still don't think she knows what she is doing. When we talk to her trying to make her smile, she is very close to making one on purpose! I can't wait to capture a smile from her. Her accidental ones are adorable, so I know her real one will be beautiful and make our hearts melt.
