Happy 1 Month!

We have survived 1 month! Hooray! The time has flown by and Aubry is getting so big already! Her 1 month appointment was Monday, so techncially her measurements are for a 3 week and 4 day old, but here are her stats:

Weight at birth: 7 lbs 13 oz Weight at 1 month: 9 lbs 4oz

She is in the 61st percentile for her weight.

Height at birth: 20.1 inches Height at 1 month: 21.3 inches
She is in the 67th percentile for her height!

And here is the "birthday" girl:

Today she went to Carter's to pick out a new outfit, and then took her first trip (of many, I'm sure) to Bass Pro Shop! Bryan was very excited to take her there, even though she didn't get anything. Here are the daddy-daughter duo:

You can kind of tell in the above picture that Aubry has been working soooo hard on smiling. She does it all the time when she is sleeping, and finally gave us a giant smile while she was awake today! It was beautiful. We can't wait to see more.

Here are some cute pictures taken the other day when Grandma visited. Sorry we cut your face out Grandma, but thanks for feeding Aubry and helping her fall asleep!

Morning Routine

I wake up between 5:15 and 5:40 to get ready for the day; am downstairs between 6 and 6:15 to check emails and watch any shows on the DVR that I am behind with. Kids start waking up around 7. The order varies; sometimes Aubry comes downstairs to snuggle for a few minutes before we go get M&G together, or, I have to get her out of bed after M&G are already up and changed. Breakfast begins. We change it up each morning between apple toast, veggie muffins, pop tarts, pancakes, cereal, and yogert. On Mondays and Tuesdays, there is no rush to get cleaned up and ready to leave; Grandma Karen arrives around 8. Other days we scramble to get hands and face washed, shoes on, coats on, toys put away, and to-go bags ready (backpacks and/or ballet bag, and diaper bag). Our goal is to be in the car ready to go by 8:15. The drop off at Grandma Nancy's is followed with dropping off Aubry at preschool at 8:55. And then I am off to work.
