Weight Estimates: both babies were in a very weird position, so the ultrasound technician had a hard time getting measurements, and said to take the weights with a grain of salt.
Baby A: about 5 lbs 11 oz, head down (very far down).
Baby B: about 5 lbs 5 oz, head up
HOORAY! They are definitely a good size for twins and I officially am carrying 11 lbs of baby!
My stomach is measuring 41 inches. The ultrasound tech and lab nurses say that I look great, and that I seem to be carrying very high.
So things are moving along.... babies are growing, and other things are progressing.... progressing quite a bit, and quite a bit quicker than planned. When the Dr. did the exam, her eyes practically popped out of her head. I am 4cm dilated and 75% effaced. All she said was that she didn't know if I would make it to next Thursday, so if something starts happening at home, to head to the hospital right away and don't eat or drink anything on the way.
My 37 week appointment has been moved up. Given that I make it through the weekend, it will be on Monday, rather than Wednesday. The only reason for this is so that I can meet with the doctor that is doing the scheduled surgery.
In the meantime, my feet are up, my water bottle is full, and I don't plan on moving except to go to the bathroom (and upstairs, only to go to bed). :)
