Happy February!! Even though I am still on modified bedrest / couch rest, I am keeping busy with school work and grad class homework, and haven't updated in a while, so here are some of the things that kept us busy in January:
SNOW
We put Aubry to work after the 2nd snowfall
AIRTASTIC
We met Mia, Uncle B, and Aunt Les at a bounce place. The girls had a ton of fun, but we only got a few pics since I was in the sitting area and everyone else was busy jumping, climbing, and sliding!!
BABYSITTING
While Teri & Kyle went skiing, we watched Kyri and Tessa. We started with lunch, then while Tessa was napping, we had some outdoor fun; Bryan made made a slide for the girls to sled down.
Baby Tessa is no longer a baby. She walked all day long, and will turn ONE in just a few days.
Kyri & Aubry had a parade
and everyone played with the Oreo puzzle
CHRISTMAS
We finally celebrated Christmas with my girlfriends, and they turned it into a surprise Baby Shower!
Jamie made a cake out of diapers!!
The girls we very generous and gave us a hamper filled with baby clothes and the twin pack n play!!
The kids celebrated Christmas with each other and opened presents for about half an hour - there were so many toys!!
DISNEY ON ICE
Kyri & Aubry went to see a princess version of Disney on Ice. They absolutly loved it!!
33 WEEKS
I had my 33 week appointment today. Everything looked good, and the doctors have officially scheduled the birth of the twins for Thursday, March 1st (this is if they decide to stay warm inside and not get confused by the nice weather we have been having and want to come out early).
Yesterday, they were moving like crazy, making my stomach looking like there were aliens in there. It turns out that baby B was actually turning, so he is no longer breech (head up). Since both babies are head down, I may not have to have a c-section. If both babies continue to stay head down, I will have the option of (as Bryan puts it) "pushing them out or cuttng them out". The only thing that makes me nervous about pushing them out, is that it is VERY possible while pushing baby A out, baby B could turn head up again in the process, which would mean going in for a c-section. I really don't want to deliver both ways. There is a small chance that, if he did turn head up, they could try turning him head down, since there will be more room once baby A is delivered, but I'm not sure if I want to take the risk. We have exactly 4 weeks to decide!! I can't believe they will be here in just 4 weeks......
