Easter Eggs
Kyri and Aubry knew exactly what needed to done. They had complete control of the table with barely any assistance, just some supervision. They came up with some great colors, which I was surprised by; I thought they would drop the eggs into the color and want to take them out right away, but they let them soak!!
Aubry let Tessa take a peek-
Grandma Karen made sure the eggs didn't roll away-
Grady had his first swing ride!!
While all the above was going on, this is what Bryan and Morgyn were busy doing-
Tessa was eager for Grady to leave the swing so her new baby could have a turn-
Happy Easter!
We started the morning with a screaming Aubry running into our room "The Easter Bunny came! The Easter Bunny came!!" She was very excited because she found an Easter egg in her doorway. Inside was a clue to find another egg hidden around the house. We followed about 5 clues before she found her basket with the blu ray Rio in it (the bird movie). We watched Rio from Netflix on Good Friday. When it was over, I sealed the envelope and took it to the mailbox. That night, she asked to watch it again. She got the saddest look on her face when I told her we borrowed it and gave it back to the mailman. I felt so bad!! But how was I supposed to know she liked it that much? She was playing with other things while it was on, so it appeared that she wasn't even paying attention to it. Well, once Bryan came home, she told him almost the entire plot of the movie! I guess I was wrong. It's a good thing the Easter Bunny knew about the situation and gave her her own copy =) I know she really liked the movie because we watched it right away before we headed to Aunt Mary's for Easter Brunch.
Aubry was waiting for weeks to wear her Easter dress. She actually got it for her 2nd birthday, but it fit perfect!! She looked so grown up.

Grady, wearing a "somebunny loves me" shirt with a bunny hat-

After a mini egg hunt, Easter baskets, brunch, birthday presents, photo shoots, and dessert, it was time to head to Pop's house for more Easter and a delicious dinner!!
Morgyn & Grady got bunny ears in their Easter baskets, but they were sleeping, so I tried them on!
Kyri, Aubry, and Tessa hunted for a while to collect 36 hidden eggs. Tessa was so proud of the 2 that she found (one for each hand). She found the lucky golden egg, too, but Aubry reached for it before poor Tessa could. I made Aubry give Tessa the treat inside - $5!! (Aubry had no idea what she was giving away)
Pop helped the girls make sure all 36 eggs were accounted for.

Celebrating SEVEN birthdays!! Scott, Bryan, Sandy, Aubry, Steve, Teri, and Craig-
One of Aubry's favorite birthday presents (and one of Daddy's least favorite)-
Well, it started raining inside Pop's house, so it was a good thing Aubry had her new umbrella. Here she is, snuggling with Aunt Sherry (in a new dress she opened from Pop)-
It was a great (and exhausting) day. Morgyn and Grady did very well. They had no problem eating or sleeping out of their normal environment. We got an overwhelming amount of gifts... our families are extremely generous!! Aubry was very busy opening presents, between Easter gifts and birthday gifts, she has a lot to keep her occupied, and should never be bored at home =)
