Check ups & much more

Happy 1 month Birthday to Morgyn & Grady!! I had a feeling March was going to be a blur. It was. I cannot believe it has been a month already! We triple dipped at the doctor's office this afternoon and had both 1 month check ups, as well as Aubry's 3 year check up. Here are the stats:

MORGYN: Eats about every 4 hours, but goes 4 - 6 hours at night (yay for me since she's on my side of the bed!). Total, she drinks 23-27 oz of formula a day. She is very alert when she is awake, and has a very strong neck and strong legs. Concerns: her neck/head favors one side. We will be doing neck stretches periodically throughout the day. Otherwise, she's lookin good! Her height and weight are proportional to each other, and overall, she ranks in the 47th percentile.
 height: 20.8 inches (53rd percentile)
 weight: 8 lbs 12 oz (36th percentile)
GRADY: Eats about every 3 hours, and goes 3 - 5 hours at night (poor Bryan, since it is usually closer to 3 or 4 hours). Total, he drinks 22-24oz of formula a day. He is just starting to become more alert during the day, and also has a very strong neck and strong legs (probably a little stronger than Morgyn). Concerns: he has had trouble keeping his food down :( He seems very uncomfortable when he is awake. The switch we made in his formula helped a little at first, but just the past few days he has started to projectile, instead of just spit up here and there. Starting tomorrow, he will begin acid relfux medicine. Otherwise, he's lookin good! His height and weight are proportional to each other, and overall, he ranks in the 50th percentile.
 height: 20.5 inches (15th percentile)
 weight: 8 lbs 8oz (20th percentile)
AUBRY: is 37 inches and 31 lbs!! She was actually excited to go to the doctor. She made up a song in the car on our way there about getting to see the doctor. I think a new show on Disney (Doc McStuffins) has really helped make her feel comfortable about having to go. She was thrilled that she had her temperature taken, got to stand on the scale, was asked to count to 5 and she went to 6, correclty identified colors, and jumped on two feet when asked. She didn't need any shots, but they did have to do a TB test on her forearm. The nurse took a pen and drew a bunny face with ears, eyes and a mouth, but said he was missing his nose... so she used the needle to make a nose. Very clever. Aubry looked a little shocked, said it hurt, but didn't have any tears. The nurse gave her a cotton swab to "wipe the bunny's nose if it starts to drip". Aubry said right away "it's bleeding". But liked that she got to wipe the bunny's nose. She was extremely patient while the babies got looked at, so she got to pick out some stickers. She chose 3: strawberry shortcake, belle, and alien from toy story.
In other news, she has turned into the iPad Queen. She is allowed to play after baths, and sometimes when we had a boring day she gets to play before bed. We have found a good amount of free educational games, but have also purchased a few "fun" games. There are some really cool learning apps out there!

We had visitors from school!! Kellie (holding Grady) and Chris (holding Morgyn). Chris brought her 3 daughters that Aubry still refers to as "my girls". "My girls brought me new bubbles". It was a great visit!!
Grandma on double duty while Aubry and I went to gymnastics.
Aubry found a Little Critter Easter book from last Easter and I have read it to her about 5 or 6 times. She must have really been listening because she can recite the majority of the book!! Here she is, reading to Grandma.
She took the book in the car and read outloud to herself, and then she read to Aunt Sue and I caught it on film. I could only upload half of the story. Some sentences are a lot clearer than others, but since I know the story, I know excactly what she is trying to say and it is the cutest thing to me!! (I transcribed her words below the video.)

Translation: "Easter Time! Wake up Mommy and Daddy. It's Easter time! We went downstairs and Easter Bunny brought us [a bunny]. We'll name him Egg. I tested the jelly beans. There were marshamallows and candy. And Egg wiggled his nose and he was silly with his card for Grandma. And then I got dressed all by myself and I wore a tie just like dad. Even I dipped eggs. And then coloring easter eggs was fun but it got Egg. And then Grandpa yelled 'let it begin. Let the Easter Bunny [egg hunt] begin'".

A rough Friday
Aubry can't get enough of her sister!!
We also had a visit from Aunt Mary & Gary. Gary finally got to meet the little ones!
M&G don't really spend much time near each other. They had a few minutes of brother/sister bonding time.
**Most of you are very unaware that on the SAME day we welcomed the twins, we had another new member of the family added on the same day - Bryan's new boat arrived at the "boat store"  (according to Aubry).
When Bryan picked it up, Aubry was very excited to go with, and, even in the cold, went out on the Illinois River for her first ride.
Lastly, our little Energizer Bunny Aubry, seems to have more energy than ever. Last night, we started watching the Country Music Awards, and she was quietly sitting on the couch, but then music started to play and she looked at Bryan and I and said "I'm gonna dance. Watch me!!". Enjoy:
