November 2012

We, of course, began November by celebrating having 8 MONTH OLD babies.
Morgyn & Grady spent the month reaching new milestones. They pull themselves up on anything possible, and have mastered walking along furniture, and are even brave enough to shift to a different piece of furntiture. They are even pushing those "walking" toys, and if they can keep up with the rolling wheels, do a pretty good job moving! I think their favorite thing to do is to steal each other's pacifier. It is hilarious. Morgyn started it, crawling right up to Grady, pulling his out of his mouth, and putting it in hers. Grady now offers Morgyn his pacifier, as if it is a trade for the bottle she is eating. They are pros at using their pinchers to pick up anything and put it in their mouth. How lucky for them that they puff container spilled.....
I had lots of help celebrating my 31st birthday...

Aubry had help preparing for a tea party...

The bathtub got its first dose of 2 bathing beauties...
I continue to be the horse for little miss cowgirl
These two little ones do lots of parallel play, but often times they pull toys right out of the other's hand.
Thanksgiving happened around now, but those pictures are later on....
The weekend after Thanksgiving, Aubry helped put the tree up! She loved helping with the ornaments. She even got her camera out to take a picture of a sparkling princess crown. Morgyn and Grady are pretty good around thre tree. We didn't put any ornaments on the lower half, so nothing is dangling, teasing them to play with. They have each attempted to touch the branches or a light, but are actually very good listeners when they hear no!

Another favorite thing to do is play at the market. In these pictures, Aubry "closed" the market, and kept telling the babies that the market was closed, but they kept on taking food. When Grady stands at the market, he will throw food over the counter over and over and over again. I feel like I clean up market food 100 times a day... and that is only counting 7am-8am and 4pm-8pm. They love it though.

THANKSGIVING....
... was wonderful, of course. We hosted again this year. Aubry was a super big help setting every place setting.

Morgyn and Grady pretended like they were going to play nice while Aubry was setting the table and Bryan and I got other things ready....
.... but they took the opportunity to climb into the pantry and take some snacks out...
Morgyn thinks this mushroom from the market is a pacifier and it cracks me up. She looks like Maggie from The Simpsons.
Party Time!
At breakfast, Aubry asked if Aunt Sherry was coming over to play dragons and queens... she was so excited to see her! Kyri and Tessa came during dinner, but I'm sure they wore Sherry out. They even stole her boots at one point...
