Adventure #1: Our annual Brookfield Zoo outing to see the holiday lights had unusually mild weather, but we still bundled up. We met Grandma Karen, Grandpa Dale, Brian, Leslie, Mia, Aunt Mary, and Gary. We didn't see many animals, but still had lots of fun seeing all the lights and left as a HUGE crowd was coming in. We left to have some pizza in Villa Park. We also celebrated two little ones turning 9 months old!
Adventure #2: Pop's 80th Birthday... see previous post!
Adventure #3: TEETH!
Look closely... there are 2 bottom teeth in each mouth!
Adventure #4: Christmas Season!
Party #1: with Friends!
Grady and Morgyn LOVED the idea of "presents" They got really excited when they were given presents, and even put in attempts to open the gifts themselves! Our friends were very generous and we went home with lots of fun new toys!
Aubry was dressed beautifully. Unfortunately, this was the only picture taken of her, helping Grandma get the strawberries ready for the chocolate fountain!
Grady was wearing a shirt that said "Gift to all the Ladies". The outfit was completed with a Santa face on hi bottom.
I was wearing Morgyn's bow, and Morgyn was wearing Aubry's first Christmas dress. These girls are going to be sharing LOTS of clothes!
Party #3: Christmas at O'Regans... this will be in a separate post.
Party #4: Pre-School Party!
In lieu of recent events, I felt that it was very important to be at Aubry's Holiday Party at Pre-School, so I took the day off. It was so much fun. Aubry loved that I was there, but I think Kyri was even more excited. She kept telling the other moms and dads "That's Auntie Kay. She's Aubry's mom." The class got to decorate cookies, play games, make crafts, and listened to a story. Tessa even got to join in at the end of class.
After school, we met Grandma Karen and the babies at the mall for some lunch (where Uncle B met us, too), and to visit Santa.
My three munchkins faces are peeking through the reindeer and snowmen!

To make sure we remember, here's how the visit went: We were first in line, waiting for Santa to come back from having his snack. When he returned, they quickly let us in. Santa saw that there were 3 kids, so his helper got a stool. We didn't think we needed the stool because Aubry said she would hold Morgyn. I put Grady in Santa's lap, Aubry climbed in, and I handed Morgyn over. Luckily, that stool was still there, because Morgyn slowly slid out of Aubry's arms, landed on the stool, and click went the camera.
Simply stated, this day was a great day.
