Calling all Fairies!!

Sue invited us to a day of Magic & Enchantment at Redbud Creek Farm, just 20 minutes from the house (long winding roads took us to what seemed the middle of now where, and then a nice forestry driveway led us to the event). The rain did not keep us away, and the girls still dressed up in their best fairy attire.
Some activities moved indoors because of the rain. Here, the girls are decorating fairy houses, coloring with Kailey, and making their own fairy wands.

The rain didn't keep us away - we continued with face painting, a tea party, and the "wee ones" tent. This tent had the cleverest little activities to keep little hands busy. Activities included "match the jar to the correct lid", "put the canning seal into the coffee can", "put the fairy clothespin into the coffee can", play-doh, chalk, "stack fruit loops and honeycomb on spaghetti", a Tupperware of rice with shovels and cups, "string the ring" (which was 1 inch pieces of pool noodle and rope) and Kryi's favorite: a clothesline to hang we pieces of cloth.

Aubry made a play-do Mickey! She was so proud.

Morgyn's new best friend-
Just as we were pondering about leaving to have a picnic in our basement back at home, the clouds opened and the SUN poured in - it was a beautiful afternoon. We gobbled up our lunches and had more play time in the "wee ones" tent.
Not only was everything free, it was SO much fun. Thank you so much for the idea, Sue!!
