Halloween with the "Bostons" at the Arboretum
We met Mia, Uncle B, Aunt Les, Grandma Karen, Grandpa Dale, Aunt Mary, and Gary at the Morton Arboretum on Saturday for a picnic lunch. We brought the girls' halloween costumes to get some pictures of them, since we wouldn't be seeing each other on Halloween. It was nice and sunny out, and the girls had a blast running around.

Apple Cider & Pumpkins
After the Arboretum, Aunt Mary invited us back to her place to warm up with some apple cider and soup (the best cream of chicken rice soup ever!!!). While we were there, they offered Aubry to carve her first pumpkin.

The design team - Aubry was thinking hard about what shape she wanted the eyes and nose.
The finished product Once it got dark, we put a candle in it and brought it outside. Aubry loved the way it glowed!

Halloween night
Dinner at Grandma Nancy's, then Trick-or-Treating on their street with Kyri & Tessa.

The girls were so excited to knock on the door. Aubry was a little greedy at times and kept picking candy to put in her bucket.
The stasch: Aubry was so proud of what she collected - of course, she wanted to eat most of it right there. We let her choose 2 things, and she picked a Kit Kat and SweetTarts.
Artist in the Making
We went to the paint store to get some samples for the new nursery, and Aubry really wanted to go home and paint. While Bryan worked hard on our sample nursery wall, Aubry painted away. She used a roller like Daddy, and then used a paint brush. She did really good and was so proud of her final design.
