September Fun

Bear Down, Chicago Bears!
We watched the first Bears game in Brian and Leslie's new basement. All the kids were #1 Fans in their Bears gear-
 Morgyn was the perfect cheerleader
Grady took a good nap....
and then made a new friend...

Grandpa Dale was tickling his girls. Grady was the look out.
Grady was working on his crawling-

 Birthday Brunch
We had a wonderful Sunday for the annual Septemeber Birthday Brunch to celebrate Aunt Mary's, Brian's, Rose's, and Dale's birthdays. We started the morning with Aubry's 1st ballet class (which she LOVED!), then ate and ate and ate some more at Drury Lane, and then relaxed and Brian and Leslie's house.
Grady was excited to wear his first jeans and a polo; such a boy!
Morgyn was so good in the big girl high chair! She sat there and played the entire time.
 But Grady got around-

 Aubry and her waffle sundae-
Two thirsty boys-
Morgyn got some playtime with Aunt Mary and Gary

 The birthday boys and girls-

 The kids table for dessert-

Miscellaneous around the house
Aubry was the first student in her class to get The Letter Box! She was given an empty box for the weekend to fill with things that start with B. She did such a good job walking around the house, saying things... "b b b b brush..... b b bracelet.... c c cup; nope! it can't go in there" So, just for her memory, this is what was inside: butterfly (crinkle toy), baseball book (grady's), baby doll, baby blanket, baby bottle, baby block, brush, bracelet, Belle, bag (ziplock), ball, and bear (small stuffed toy).

Grady is everywhere and gets into everything!! At 6-months-old he is officially a crawler, and is already pulling himself up to stand. He hasn't quite figured out how to get out of the standing position, so we usually hear a loud thump and a little wince when he decides he is done standing. He so badly wants to take steps along whatever he is standing against! It will be soon, I just know it!

Excuse me, Morgyn, I need to get by.

6 month (7 month stats)
Morgyn and Grady saw the doctor 5 days before they turned 7 months. They both took their shots well, with minimal tears. Even Aubry got a flu shot, and she did great too.
Morgyn and Grady are both 26 inches long (34th and 10th percentile..Grady is shorty!!), and - wait for it - Grady finally passed Morgyn up in the weight department!! But only by 2 ounces. He is 17 lbs 5 oz (34th percentile) and she is 17 lbs 3 oz (58th percentile). They both have really large heads (G: 67th percentile and M: 71st percenitle!) I guess they are both t-rexs: "I've got a big head and little arms!"

Our amazing "Grandma Nancy's helper" that helps on Mondays and Fridays has her own photography company Life Treasures Photography. She surprised me with a cd of these beautiful pictures... over 100 pictures! It was hard to pick just a few. These are my favorites:
