The Weekly Routine

We are six weeks into the school year and our routine has been working really well. Follow, if you wish-

Monday through Friday Mornings: Bryanis up around 4:30, showered, and out of the house by 5:15. I get up at 5:18, shower, and get downstairs by 6am to start checking emails and facebook :) Grady is up between 6 and 6:30 and will have 6 oz. Morgyn wakes up between 6:30 and 7, and usually eats 6 oz. They are dressed and changed as soon as they wake up, but Grady usually poops as soon as he's done eating, so that clean diaper already needs changing. They are set on the ground to play. Aubry wakes up between 6:45 and 7:30. She gets breakfast (cereal, poptart, bagel, toaster strudel, pancakes, blueberry waffle, or cinnamon toast) while she watches cartoons (usually Jake and the Pirates and Mickey are on). We get her on the potty, dressed, and hair brushed. Then the routine changes, based on the day:
Monday: everyone is packed up and in the car by 8am, off to Grandma Nancy's. We get there between 8:15 and 8:20. Car is unpacked, and kids are on the floor playing. Kyri and Tessa are there waiting for us. Grandma's helper, Julie, comes at 8:30. Aubry, Kyri, and Tessa scream "JULIE's Here!". I am in the car and off to work by 8:45.
Tuesday: Grandma Karen arrives between 8 and 8:15. Aubry and I leave by 8:40 for Preschool in Grandm's car. I drop her off and am off to work by 9:05. Grandma Karen uses my car to go pick up Aubry. She usually waits in the parking lot with Morgyn, Grady, and sometimes Tessa while Grandma Nancy goes inside to get Kyri and Aubry.
Wednesday: Grandma Nancy arrives between 8:30 and 8:45. I am off to work by 8:45.
Thursday: same as Tuesday :)
Friday: same as Monday :)
Our moms are the best and they have really helped so much. I don't know what we would do without them!!!
Afternoons are also different, depending on the day. Right now, I have grad class on Mondays, so Bryan is at his mom's by 4. Soon, grad class will be on Thursdays, so he will have to be home by 4 to let my mom head home. Once grad class starts on Thursdays, Grandma Karen's car will get car seat bases so that she can keep her car and I won't have to take it to grad class.
Tuesdays and Thursdays I am home between 315 and 4. Wednesdays I am home by 4:15, due to after school meetings. Fridays I am at Nancy's to pick up between 3 and 3:30.
Evenings: Once it is just me and the 3 amigos, we are all sitting on the floor, playing, unless someone is napping (but that only happens once in a while). Grady is ready for baby food by 5:30, so Morgyn eats then too. Dinner for the rest of us is between 6 & 7. If it's a bath night, baths happen right after dinner. If all 3 are due for a bath, that takes up the entire evening, and we end with iPad time for Aubry before bed. The babies have one last bottle (between 7:30 and 8) and are in bed by 8:30. Morgyn is really good at going down wide awake and she will fall asleep on her own. Grady will fall asleep right after his bottle, or we have to wait for him to start burying his head into things, then he will fall asleep on his own, or need a little walking/rocking. Lights out in the Knutson home happens between 9 and 10. Depending on how needy Aubry is at bedtime, I am usually the one that falls asleep in her bed first. Then Bryan wakes me up and I transfer to my own :)
Just a few hours later, and the routine starts all over again!
We keep ourselves busy on the weekends, so all schedules are pretty much out the window.
