I know I am posting a month behind.... now that school has started again, there won't be as much to update, so I will try to keep you up to date!!
Grandma Karen's Island Party was scheduled for the only cold and rainy day of the summer. The chillies didn't stop us. The pool party moved inside (minus the pool). There were lots of kids and toys to keep the adults entertained, plus a delicious lunch and dessert.

The same evening, we (Brian, Leslie, Bryan, and I) scheduled a Living Social Adventure to go paddle boarding in Lake Michigan. We were a little nervous about the weather cooperating, but by the time we got downtown to Montrose Harbor, it stopped raining. We paddle boarded in the harbor for about an hour, then had some beverages and sandwich wraps on Montrose Beach. It ended up being pretty fun. If it was a bit warmer, it would have been the perfect outing. (Brian, Leslie, and Bryan were brave enough to stand the majority of the time, which also meant that they fell in a couple times. I stood for a little bit, but mostly paddled on my knees, and didn't fall in)
Aubry had her a sleepover at Grandma Karen's for 2 nights! She stayed after the Island Party while we went downtown, and we picked her up Saturday morning after our Anniversary breakfast. (The babies went home with Grandma Nancy, and we picked them up later that evening)
Happy 5th Anniversary!!
One weekend Bryan took Brian, Leslie, Mia, Aubry, and Josh wake boarding. Leslie is turning out to be a professional, and Josh's first time was great!
Another rainy day, one of the last days of summer. What a perfect day to use rain boots and matching umbrella to go puddle jumping :)
